What You Can Customise

Per-Series Colours

Assign a distinct colour to each series individually using a colour picker, or apply one colour to all series at once with a single click.

Line Thickness

Adjust line width from 0.5 px to 8 px. Go thin for dense multi-line charts, or bold for clean presentation slides and client reports.

Font Size

Scale all chart text from 6 pt to 20 pt. Smaller for dense dashboards, larger for large-format prints or slide decks viewed from a distance.

Axis Range Limits

Set manual minimum and maximum values for the X and Y axes to zoom in on the data range that matters, without changing your source file.

Legend Position

Place the legend where it fits best: upper right, upper left, lower right, lower left, best-fit auto, or hide it entirely for a cleaner export.

One Dialog, All Controls

Every style setting lives in the Customise dialog, accessible from the menu. Changes apply to the live chart immediately, no re-plotting needed.

How to Customise Your Chart

Plot Your Chart

Import your data file, select your columns, and pick a chart type. Your chart appears instantly with default styling.

Open the Customise Dialog

Go to the menu and open Customise. Adjust colours, thickness, font, axis ranges, and legend position. Changes appear on the chart live.

Export or Save

Export your styled chart as a 220 DPI PNG, or save the project. All style settings are stored in the .gpplot.json file and restored next time.

Style Saved with Your Project

Every customisation (colours, thickness, font, axis ranges, legend position) is stored inside your .gpplot.json project file. Reload the project and your chart looks exactly the same, even after updating the underlying data.
